How to find your lost or stolen Microsoft phone

It's very painful when you lost or someone stole your phone. If it
truly got lost or stuck within your room or house, with the help of
the in built function called "Find My Phone", you don't need to worry

account.microsoft.com/devices will help you get back your phone with
just 4 options which are: Ring, Lock, Erase, or show your Windows
Phone on a map.

If its your first time of signing into Windows Find My Phone, You must
follow the following steps:
NOTE: You must be signed into your Microsoft account on your Windows phone.

1. Visit www.account.microsoft.com/devices. You maybe prompted to sign
in again but just relogin with the same Microsoft account you used to
sign in on your phone.
2. Select the phone you want to find and click on "Find My Phone".

To locate you phone on the map, follow the steps below:
1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices.
2. Choose the phone you want to find then select Find My Phone.
3. Your phone's location will be displayed on the map.

To make your phone ring out or lock it, follow this steps:
1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices.
2. Choose the phone you want to ring or
lock, then click Find My Phone.
3. To make your phone ring, click Ring and then follow the
instructions. It will ring even if the volume is off or
set to vibrate.
4. To lock your phone and show a message on the lock screen, click
Lock , then follow the instructions. If
you don't already have a password set up on your phone, you'll need to
enter one – you'll use it to unlock the phone if you get it back.

To erase your phone's data, follow this steps:
If you're very sure that you can't get your phone back, or if you have
private information on it that you want to protect until you recover
it, you can erase your phone remotely.
1. Go to account.microsoft.com/devices.
2. Choose the phone you want to erase, then click Find My Phone .
3. Click Erase.
4. If you're absolutely, positively sure, select the I'm ready to
erase my phone checkbox, then click Erase.
